The açai berry is found on the açai palm tree found in South American rainforests. The seed takes up roughly 80% of the berry, while the other 20% is made up of it’s vitamin, mineral, and nutrient-dense flesh and skin. Like other berries, the açai berry is loaded with antioxidants that can help build up your immune system and protect your cells against damage from free radicals.
